Andrew Llowarch BA(Hons)(Manchester) DipArch(Edin) ARB RIBA
Educated at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School, Ellesmere Port. Studied architecture at Manchester Polytechnic and Edinburgh University.

Has previously worked with Sauerbruch Hutton Architects, David Chipperfield Architects and MacCormac, Jamieson & Prichard in London and with West 8 Landscape Architects in Rotterdam before establishing Llowarch Llowarch Architects in 2001.

Projects worked on with the above practices include: Henley Rowing Museum, Henley; Cornerhouse Arts Centre, Manchester; Cable and Wireless Telecommunication College, Coventry; St. John's College, Oxford, Halls of Residence; Babelsberg Film & TV archive, Potsdam, Germany (competition), private apartment, and refurbishment of a family house in West London; Mews housing in West London.

Has taught at Manchester University, Oxford Brookes & Leeds Metropolitan University.

Recipient of 1999 RIBA Rome Scholarship in Architecture & Urbanism.

 

 
     
Nicola Llowarch MA(Hons)(Edin) BArch(Hons)(Bath) ARB
Educated at Belfast Royal Academy, Belfast. Studied architecture at Edinburgh and Bath University. Graduated in 1991.

Has worked for practices in Canada and the Netherlands as well as in the UK, including Northern Ireland. Practices in the UK include Stanton Williams, MacCreanor+Lavington Architects and Spencer Fung Architects.

Projects worked on with the above practices include: Tower Environs Scheme, Tower of London;Exhibition design for the Hayward Gallery; Millennium Seed Bank for the Royal Botanic Gardens, West Sussex; Office fit-out for Issey Miyake; Gallery for the Peter Moores Foundation, Compton Verney, Wiltshire; Lux Building: Cinema, video gallery and film and video editing facilities for the British Film Institute, North London; Public housing, Zeedam, North Amsterdam.
